I'm not living on the Island myself (I'm on the southshore in Brossard) but you're being way too harsh on Montreal.

It's a great place to live, plenty of activies for families and the night life is awesome.

But hey, to each his own. I wouldn't want to live in Toronto either.

I grew up in Greenfield Park.

I am just very critical of the politics of Quebec in general. And that new bill 21 just adds to it. All it's going to do is hurt the Province.

Montreal has been passed by a lot of cities since it peaked. And Toronto has some amazing suburbs to live in.

Typical Torontonian entitlement..

Ottawa (and CGY) actually offer more than TO. Just better all around cities.

What is the thought process here? Nothing good will come of this. I'd rather live in any other province than Quebec.

Beer, starring Loretta Swit, Rip Torn.

Do not watch it with your wife or girlfriend if you want sex in the next 20 years.

It’s amazing how easy it is to stir poop up on there

Some of you ppl on here may hate me, but you got nothing on the Twitter DERPS.

It’s like people wake up everyday waiting for something to trigger them, so I give it to them for my own amusement. I get tons of angry DM’s - some in novel form - most from some pubescent sjw’s.. genY is absolutely (frank)ed.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Twitter is everything I hate about technology - it gives people the false belief that just because they have the ability to broadcast something to a wide audience, it automatically makes what they are saying valid/insightful/important.

Stupid people should really keep their stupid thoughts to themselves.

BTW, how can people say there's not much to do in Toronto? Are people insane? There's so much to see and do. More than any other city.

Let's be honest, Montreal's "Amazing" nightlife means getting drunk and seeing strippers. Not much else.

Quebec's politics are far from perfect, but every place has it's problems.

I still wouldn't trade Montreal. There's no place like it.

Twitter/Facebook etc. will be the end of the world. I love not being on any platform other than HB these days. It's amazing. People talk to me about how stressful just living with social media is.

I ain't gonna start a debate with you on politics.

But I wouldn't feel much better living in Ford's Ontario right now. Or the NPD before him.

I'll leave it at that.

You should go to Manchu Wok in the food court of the Eaton Centre.

Dude, people are being told they can't wear religious headwear. It's s a joke and it will once again hurt Quebec's economy.

Toronto is booming. It's not hurting from Ford.

If you like Italian, there's this little restaurant called East Side Mario's - really, really good stuff.

It helped me get over the fact that there are no Olive Gardens in Toronto anymore.

I like the cold. The frozen canal (I used to skate on it a lot - lived in the Glebe) Ottawa is very festive, and the people are more laid back.. the Ottawa River is a national Gem, Gatineau Park is right there.. I just love that town, it’s so quintessentially Canadian.
