Roundtrip for 2 to Victoria-Ottawa cost me 1600

(frank)

Flying in Canada is crap in general. I want to go on more ski trips but I don’t want to drop 2000$ every time.

Yeah I agree it’s mostly for business flights.

A friend of mine had to fly to Ottawa last minute in June for business. It costed 2,000$

The company paid for it but still that’s insane. That’s an all inclusive trip for one at a nice resort

- Santo_44

Well $2000 for all inclusive isn't bad if it's for a week.
I can eat and drink 2 grand in a week.

Gotta say, it was pretty uneventful, It's now fenced the entire way, but I didn't know that.
It was three years ago lots of stops on the side of the road with overlooks.

- bobbyisno1

Is it? I haven’t been down that way in 3-4 years myself.

Fair enough - I could do it, but I'd be living nearly paycheck to paycheck. I'd rather not do that
- RickJames77

IIRC, we were paying $2,400 (maybe $2,600?) - USD, of course - for a 1 bedroom + den condo on St. Botolph.

We moved back to Toronto and paid $1,700 CDN (so roughly $1,300 USD) for a 3 bedroom house with garage, less than a mile from the Eglinton subway station (8 stations from downtown).

Boston was founded in 1630.

Crayons were invented in 1903.

This merely would have added to the logistical nightmare in planning.

Was ther 3 years ago, entirely fenced except for the overlook stops, but the alligators cant get on the highway there.
So next time I won't take that route just to end up in Miami.

Leafs will need to come first, not out of the question, but highly unlikely.
Red Wings will have to squeak into a wild card. Also highly unlikely.

There is also the next few seasons. Wings have some good talent coming up. Lots of cap space too. I expect us to be competing for a wildcard spot in two years, potentially.

The real test is if Arizona can survive a monstrous hot dog shortage this season.

Yeah well If they had of listened to me they would have trade JVR and the Bozak for picks,
You think if Kessel was still in the lineup without those 2 they woudn't have come last?

At the price you can get them out of Jobing.com Arena, Kessel may not survive.

I’ll take a Leafs/Arizona series at this point.

Leafs/Boston is so (frank)ing stale now. The playoff format was cool at first but 3/4 series being Boston? Let’s get something new here.

Imagine Gardiner is just saying to dubas

“Give me whatever is left on the cap after Marner signs at 4 years”

Do all you Gardner haters like him after that?

The fatter he gets, the more he scores. He’ll break Gretzky’s record while being 391 pounds.

I wasn't a fan of the format since day 1 and even less so now. I never liked the concept of hurting a team for playing well in the regular season, which is exactly what this format opens itself up to. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you have to beat the best to be the best. Whatever, I still don't want to have to play a top 5 team in round (frank)ing one to then advance and get a chance to play #1. That didn't happen this year, but the year before, and very much looked like it was going to repeat itself for either the Bruins or Leafs this past year. We haven't had a perfect format ever and I get that, but how about 1 v 8 with no division winners. 1 is 1 and 2 is 2. The winner of the other division doesn't get 2 just because.

I'm also sick of playing the same damn teams. Rivalries be damned

I’m hoping the Leafs face Montreal.

But I think TB Takes a pretty huge step back in the regular season standings. They probably lose a lot of motivation....as for playoffs I see them being monsters. I can see Toronto being neck and neck with them in the regular season though.

I like the 1-8 seeds so much better.

The first round just feels so great.

Nothing is better than cheering for the 8th and 7th seeds against the top dogs.

And rivalries will happen regardless...but what ruins rivalries is when you push them down our throats. I hate Boston but they are starting to just be annoying. I should want the Leafs to face a great rival.
