I wonder with as many high ranked RFAs not receiving an offer sheet if there is some collusion going on. Surely someone could have offered 10.1 mil (2 firsts a second and third)

I know the Habs did one ,a weak offer, but there was potential for so much more.

That’s why there are no OS, because teams don’t want to pay a guy $10 if they can pay him $8 or $7.

If we hadn't have made changes I probably would agree...but I see no reason the trend of moving up 3-5 spots won't continue. Even with Edler-Tanev-Baertchi-Sutter probably injured most of the year we have some depth finally now at other positions.

I still think playoffs is a reach...but would nice to see them compete. Just wanna see the effort level rise and be competitive in games, if they lose playing that way so be it.

This is the other problem. We walk into Tampa, WAS, PIT, BOS and win games vs top clubs then lay eggs vs ARZ, LA, ANA and other bottom clubs in the league. Gotta clean that up.

Injuries for sure, I have a feeling the chemistry is going to be great. Just looking at the guys brought in hard-working, team guys with some skill/speed.

I have slightly higher hopes that Linus makes the NHL as a bottom 6 forward than Dahlen was ever going to make the NHL.
