Mike Johnson saying that using LTIR during the summer is a more complicated process but they can put players like Horton and Clarkson on LTIR during the summer in order to exceed the summer 10% over cap limit and buy themselves a couple of million dollars extra in cap space.

Maybe it is. I had 26, 27, 36 and 38 as the points for the 4 I listed leaving. Maybe one or more of them are not correwct. Possible. But that adds to 127.

And, as I said...points are not the be-all, end-all. It is just you stated more points came in than went out of the players I mentioned, when that wasn't even close to true. So just showed it was an incorrect statement. Carry on. I can see I have gotten some of you on the wrong track.

I read an interesting (hypothetical) case study the other day. The long and short of it was, if you took the best players on the Sabres, and the best players on the Bills, you'd have half a poopty NHL team and half a poopty NFL team.

once you get past rd 1 ...there are not many guarantees out there, so just have lots of picks and hope a couple pan out.

beats the days of the Nonis Leafs being a fringe team and having only 5 or 6 picks in 3 consecutive drafts. Hey but they did get Andreas Johnsson and Connor brown with 6th and 7th
