I lived in Edmonton during the tambellini years and I went to as many games as I could. I always thought Hall was a total blockhead on the ice. Giving the puck away, fumbling passes, dangerous rushes ending with him being at fault.
Was it just me or do you notice the same thing with the devils?

What i remember most of Hall is his blind tip pass off the defensive wall in an attempted break out. Worked less often than it did. Some defenseman would ring it around he would rush to the spot he could tip it back and it would end up on a opponents stick. And 60% of the time it would wind up in the back of our net.

If he isn't signed well before the trade deadline you have to move him if you're Shero. Can not afford to let him walk for nothing. I think you have to have at least the framework of what he is looking for hammered out before the season. Devils would never get equal value back, but you have to get something back for him.

Panarin set the market for superstar wingers, and TBH I'm hesitant to give Hall 8 years $11 million. He would be 36 when that deal expires.

That is a scary contract for Hall..Would he ever live up to it? Hopefully he didnt wear Flames pyjamas as a kid and just walk at the end of the year...
