I won't pretend I even heard of Marino, but considering the lack of defense prospects behind Addison and POJ I like it. Seems like he wasn't signing with Edmonton so they had to unload him. No risk for Pens because they don't lose a pick if he doesn't sign.

Again, never heard of him, but one reason he may be better than his numbers is that since he was a RHD playing behind Adam Fox, he probably had limited offensive opportunity. Better chance to help soon than a 2021 sixth.

Theyre playing 3 on 3 in a mini rink. Sometimes myself and buds play 4 on 4 in a rink a tiny bit bigger than that.

Played 5 on 5 ball hockey in a full size rink (without ice obviously) Monday night...man what a workout, yikes

We have a tiny rink here in Tampa and they used to do 4v4 pickup every Friday night. That was easily my favorite hockey to play. The back and forth pace was so much fun and it forced you to make decisions way quicker as the plays happened so fast and guys closed gaps so quickly because of the small ice. For some stupid reason they stopped doing those pickups and now I’m back to poopty B league hockey.

I really enjoy 4 on 4 as well. I play a lot of ball hockey as well and its always 4 on 4 unless its on the "big floor" in an arena like Monday. That was the first time I played 5 on 5 ball hockey in an actual rink in a few years. Where we usually play has two indoor ball hockey rinks next to each other under same roof, each one a bit bigger than the rink in that vid.

The only time he looked out of place was when he played alongside Letang and that shouldn't be a surprise. That was a lot to ask of him. I have very high expectations for him this upcoming season. I think he will start alongside Gudbranson on the 3rd pairing unless JJ is moved, but I do think he will be the second pair LD by December.

It was an extremely small sample size but I remember liking what I saw from Petts-Tang and wishing it would stick a bit longer. I know that people here have said that Letang was the only partner Petts didn't prop up but I feel like Letang is at such a high level that if he's going to have to partner with anyone but Dumo, who he's extremely familiar with, for only a few games it might hinder his play a bit part in due to unfamiliarity.
