Matt Martin has an impact in the game every single shift he ever takes. Say that about Tomas Tatar or Bryan Rust. - Grinder47
The majority of his impacts are negative so yeah. Sure he has impacts every game. |

Haha I bet Zetterberg could play a little D if he wanted. Lecavalier was just the big size option on my lineup. The Sedins and Richards were Lady Bing's material. lol - Barnaby36
But wasn’t Richards the one who nailed Krejci and sparked the come from behind when they were down 0-3 to the Bruins? I’m pretty sure that was a huge TSN turning point |

Wrong Richards. Brad, not Mike. |

Didn’t the Islanders win like 9 to 1 that game? Dudes a beaut. Just because he poops all over the flyers and Pens for that matter every year don’t be a hater. - Grinder47
Pens won 3-0. Thanks for playing though. Eye test and memory is really well oiled today. |

Okay...and Brian Dumoulin puts up 15-20 points a season playing huge minutes with one of the best offensive defensemen in the league. Is he a bad player?
Johns isnt a bad player. His metrics are above average. He's a suitable 2nd pairing D. Much better than Rikkola, Johnson, and Gudbranson...probably about equivalent of Pettersson. The risk is just injury related. - YouMeAndDupuis9
Sure he could be a serviceable second outing RD only if there’s a solid offensive guy opposite him in the left side (ala Jake Gardiner). But there isn’t. We don’t have that space for him. And with Guddy in the lineup he can’t play 3rd pair. I’d rather have someone more capable than Stephen Johns. |

They were down 6-0 when that brawl happened. Pretty sure they lost. |

That would be incorrect. The fight happened on February 2nd, 2011. The Pens were winning 3-0 with 16 seconds left in the game when the fight happened. |

We were talking about the game that followed that had a lot more fights and PIM where they racked up over 300 PIM combined. |

Ah. In your post you said DiPietro got hurt fighting a goalie, and then he said didn’t the Isles won that game 9-1? So at first you were referring to DiPietros fight. DiPietro didn’t play in the 2nd game with all the PIMs. |

Yeah...I said the game where Matt Martin attacked Talbot because Talbot laid a solid hit on a player the game before. |

How about Boogard, Laraque, Brashear and McIntyre? |

Yeah, sucker punching Max Talbot from behind because Talbot laid a clean hit on a guy and Rick DiPietro got hurt fighting a goalie that he himself challenged was "impactful."
Dude's a piece of poop. - jmatchett383
Yeah no mention of what game you were talking about, which is why it looks like you guys thought it was the same game. |

Not before clarifying if Boogard, Laraque, Brashear and McIntyre were junior high scoring stars...
lol jokes aside, can't wait for the JJ trade go down. We might have to roll with him and I'm not prepared yet. |

I (personally speaking) said MOST NHL players were good junior players (assuming they played juniors). Then there were a handful who worked their tails off or fought everyone they could to try to get a job. |

Imagine they cant trade JJ and he ends up on the 3rd pair with Guds and they complement each other greatly and become a super effective shutdown tandem.
One can dream.... |

Sure. Me too. So give me a reasonable example of how you would get someone better who fits within the cap. And by reasonable, you can't assume trading Johnson or Gudbranson |
