With all this talk about Matthews being overpaid, just consider this...

In around 30-40 LESS games played than the NHL's most elite forwards, he's still ahead of them all for 5v5 goals since his draft year. The kid is a phenom.

He deserved every penny he was given. And production wise he could of gotten more.

If Matthews plays the entire year and the Leafs are not last in PP time and he simply gets TOI of a regular star his stats will be fantastic,

are you serious? lindros was a has been when he played here for one season! getting a whooping 33 points with 11 goals, wow. friggin' Aki berg could have done that. and "disgusting" is way too strong a word to use for something so pointless. you should be ashamed of who you are as a human being let alone as a leaf fan
