The problem is that almost the entire team legitimately has worse results with Ristolainen on the ice.

That includes the good players like Eichel and Dahlin in the small sample.

Trouba was on a much better roster ....... Risto has been apart of some god awful teams.

So that point "he plays better defense" doesnt hold. Put Trouba on the sabres over Risto, you get the same results.
