Carol Schram: A look at the second half of the Vancouver Canucks' 2019-20 schedule The Canucks will be busy during the last three months of the season, with plenty of divisional and conference matchups that could spell the difference between making and missing the playoffs.

Thanks for the break down Carol!

Sedin retirement against Chicago... interesting choice of the lot. Definitely had the most memorable playoff rivalry against them!

My favorite memory over the years was having an owner who left the team's management to the managers.

Unfortunately, they didnt have playoff success under him while he hid down in Seattle.

When Frank owned the team, a young Arthur Griffiths skated with the team at practice a few times.

Geez. This club has always been fcuked. šŸ˜‚

They meddled. They had their players they wanted and a very restrictive internal cap.

I think the new CBA came in late during the Mccaw ownership but he was far from stingy compared to the Griffiths. He signed off for Gretzky offer, missed but went for Messier the following season.

Favorite memory, hmm. The McLean kick save and subsequent 2OT Bure goal in game 7 vs the Flames. The Greg Adams OT goal in game 1 vs the Rangers. Bureā€™s flying elbow vs the Stars. All ā€˜94 related. I guess the most memorable, impactful one because I was there to see it was the Richter save on Bure on a penalty shot near the end of the first period, with the Canucks up 2-0. Thatā€™s the moment that changed the series IMO.

94 was special. I don't remember much of the early 80's Islander series cup final.

The Burrows goal in gm 7 vs Chicago was huge. Huge in the way that if we blow that PO round the team may have not recovered for 25 years lol. Kesler's dominance over NSH in 2011 stands out. Bieksa goal vs SJ stands out as does the Torres and Burrows goals from Gms 1-2 of 2011 cup final.

Bad memories of course was the Luongo choke in 2011 and the Lafayette post vs the Rags in 94

ā€˜82 is a bit hazy for me. I can remember sitting in our TV room, the only one home, all the lights off, watching by myself. I donā€™t remember much of the games, just the feeling of disappointment after they unlikely run to the final.

2011 midway through the year I expected the team to win. I had ā€œthat feelingā€, like a bunch of you tools do now .

It was fun, but ā€˜94 to me was the more incredible experience. I mean, as far as disappointments go, I think the year Naslund/Bertuzzi lost to the Wild was the one that got away. That team could easily have hoisted the cup if they hadnā€™t come unwound.

I was at that game to, the penalty shot. After the game people were grumbling its over and I was saying no its not and they looked at me like I had 2 heads

I mean, I was less pumped at the end when they had lost, than at the end of the first, but I believed in those guys, they had pulled themselves up and dusted themselves off before. I loved the game 5 win, with the cup Iā€™m the building and everyone expecting the Rangers to hoist it then. Was that game where Courtnal scored but it hit the back bar and the goal judge didnā€™t see it, Rangers went back the other way and scored, then on review they gave the Canucks the goal?

Thanks Carol. I see two old teams like Dallas and SJ struggling with with their schedule and playing more tired teams. That could bode well for Canucks.

'82, '94, 2011 wild rides and bitter sweet. Were any of those teams more loaded then what is being developed now? Is a 202? run in the cards with the group being groomed? They need to cut their teeth in a playoff first. Can see why there is a push now to get there.

Then they came back here and the rangers looked tired and done, messier breaking trevs nose in the last seconds with a cheapshot. You know he will play he will play on crutches but he will play in game 7
