Your point is rather weak considering one of those 3 happens to be the best player in the world.

They have to play their number 2 centre with him because they have no wingers. That leaves them with Nuge handling too big of a load. I stand by what I said.

Just because the oilers forwards suck doesn't mean others teams don't suck more.

Ottawa doesn't even have a number 2 center to play with their nonexistent number 1 center.

Kadri was a luxury. They are better in other areas. Also, is Colorado getting the same Kadri? I think he looked a little slower last season.

Not sure 2 years from now Kadri is considered better than Kerfoot.

You could be right but it's a really solid move for both.

Now the Avs can break that top unit up and have one of those dynamite wings play with an actual 2nd line C.

What exactly is it that you are standing by?

That Ottawa has a stronger group of core forwards than Edmonton?

That’s a nice hill you’ve chosen to die on. Enjoy!

next week: Worst defense corps in the league...Edmonton Oilers

two weeks from now: worst Goaltending tandem...Edmonton Oilers

three weeks from now: worst GM over the past 5yrs....Edmonton Oilers

hopefully Holland and Co. can right this ship...so far so good.

- JLO961

I’d argue he’s done a pretty poop job so far.

He hasn’t don’t anything bad but nothing good either...and this is a team that can’t afford to stay stagnant. McDavid is probably getting frustrated and EDM is a bad place to play when it’s this bad.

Stand by it all you want. The team with the best player in the world, imo, isnt the weakest. There are teams, like Ottawa without a single star forward or ppg player. Imo that's the weakest.

If you think it's harder for the Oilers to find dime a dozen players like Boedker, Anisimov, Pageau than it is for Ottawa to find a McDavid or Draisaitl well.. good for you.

There's no argument. He's standing by what he said.

Both teams get solid players in positions they oh so desperately needed.

Kadri is too good in the 3C role kind of like Staal on the Pens...another year would of been another 40 PT year and it would hurt his value.

I have no idea how you can compare Andersen to the crap in Philly for the past 25 years.

You guys never had a true #1. Leafs had a top 10 goalie without a doubt.

- RogerRoeper

Well, there was that couple of years of reprieve with Cechmanek. That’s about it. Bob was there, too, but he wasn’t quite the Bob we know now.

Is the question worst skilled, or worst overall situation. Edmonton doesn’t have the worst skill because of McDavid Draistl RNH.

My vote for worst skill is Ottawa or Detroit because of obvious reasons,

Worst overall hands down Toronto. pay the poop out of 4 forwards and try to sign the rest of your roster for one million each. Strategic bunch lol

Leafs have to many good forwards. Be way better if they didn't have any good forwards because then they would have more money to pay good forwards.

What?

Are you really telling everyone here that if you could you wouldnt trade the Sens forward group for the Leafs forward group just cause you hate the Leafs they have 4 very good and in some cases elite forwards? Its all good though, if you clothes your eyes tight enough and say beetlejuice and bloodymary enough times Kerfoot, Johnsson and Kapanen vanish into thin air.

Huh? He was PPG for 3 straight years with Bozak as his centre.
- RogerRoeper

How old was he?

Because he's 32 now and not the kinda guy thats gonna age well into his mid 30's, nevermind carry a line

(And he was barely a PPG TWICE in 7 years on the Leafs, once barely missed and fell off a cliff his final season before going to the Pens)

Age means different things to different players. Kessel isnt' a Lucic. His body has little wear and tear. He's had his best stats since he's been in his 30's.
- RogerRoeper

Playing with who?

Oh ya, Crosby, Malkin, Letang, cleaning up on the half wall on PP assists

Both have the Oil hey? There were no less than 10 teams that scored less goals than the Oilers last year with their supposed worst core in the league. I wonder where those 10 teams rank on this list. How many of our goals came from dmen? Probably a lot less than most teams.

Edmonton is bad, but LA has the absolute worst, oldest, slowest forward core in the league. Aside from Kopi, there is not much to be pleased with. To me it is no contest.

Are you honestly trying to tell us you think there's 20 - 25 other teams out there with a better group of core forwards to build around than McDavid, Draisaitl, and Nugent-Hopkins?
- BaronVonShiznit

It's a joke...whenever they have these who is the worst in the league it's designed to get huge hits...clowns like cordely or Tanner rip on the oilers...predictable as ever...anything oilers draws the most crowds...win or lose...

Detroit is the worst. After Larkin, Mantha, Athanasiou and Bertuzzi... It's Filppula, Nielsen, Abdelkader, Helm, Glendening, De La Rose, Rasmussen, Hirose, Ehn, Svechnikov.

I don't even know what they look like anymore. I know Bobby Ryan is still there. 😂 At least they have Brady Tkachuk.
