That would be a smart decision. Although, people on here would lose their crap, I'd put Strome on waivers too. A non zero chance he would actually get claimed and that's a free 3.1 million in cap space. If you wanted to buyout Shatty, that would help a ton for next season.

What I'm saying is, it's not the worst thing in the world if Strome DID get claimed. I know you can't buy out Strome, but it's basically a free buyout if someone claims him. Then, if you just bought out Smith (or Shatty) you would already have all the cap space you need. With G's cap hit going down next year, your dead space issue for next season is mitigated too.

What options are you talking about?? If you put them all on waivers all those players can be but very unlikely, claimed. So you will lose 17 percent of our line up.
