I know on this board, the server might crash from all the rage if it happened. However, if you could get a team to take Shatty or Staal with no salary retained, would you give them Kreider as the sweetener? - 2sticks1puck

True, but I don't see him waiving to go anywhere unless he somehow signs an extension with the new team since I can't see NYR extending him. |

Nah, I'd rather picture Oprah with the other teams. "You get an albatross!" "You get an albatross" Minnesota, "you get two albatrosses" |

The team that we almost traded Krieder too and previously employed Shatty sticks out. Maybe we could even get a stopgap like Connauton back. |

“That’s my game,” Henriksson said. “When I play with Lucas and Alex, they’re so good with the puck in the offensive zone that if I can do them better by doing hard work all over the ice then that’s good for us.”

It's possible, but I think $8M is right about where he comes in...give or take maybe 500k. I'm just ballparking it.
It also depends on what kind of deal he wants. If he goes the "traditional" route and signs an 8 year deal, I think he could be closer to $9M. But if he goes with the new fad of taking a 3-5 year deal I think ~$8M or so is the sweet spot. |
