Is Gorton napping? ...and who pissed on Brukie's cornflakes?

Good chance he did that himself. in his view he is the ONLY one who knows whats going on and the rebuild should be going on for another 4 years or so.

In my opinion there’s 2 ways to trade Nam, 1 is we retain money and get a mid pick or B prospect, the other is we retain nothing but it’s a Nam and 4th for a 5th type deal.
- nyrangers9479

I don't see where this is a deal breaker.
We are trying to move him to fit in pieces that we are hoping become more important that Stinky. So, what difference does it make whether we get full market value back? The real win is icing the line up we have under contract.

Im totally fine with getting a 4th or 5th rounder for him. Ill take a bag of rocks for him to balance out the cap.

Good grief man what would it take for you to be happy this off season? Signing 35yr old Joe Pavelski? Corey Perry? Katy Perry maybe?

I think the 4 year window went bye bye the second the Rangers signed Panarin. What does he expect the rest of us to do about it?

Sulk like b1tches?

There is a ton of new talent coming on board this year that won't require big salaries for awhile. We'll live.

preaching to the choir, Burkie on the other hand wants no talent coming in and suck for years to come. While I wasn't for the Panarin signing by itself, with all the talent we ave seemingly brought in this off season I think we hit the accelerate button so that we can avoid sucking for 4 more years.

Think they have a good mix of vets and youngsters. Too many young kids and you risk turning into the Oilers.

I'm very uneasy about the dollars and term for Panarin but man am I excited about this season and the future of this team. Win or lose it should be a lot more fun than the past 3 seasons.

Agreed.

The Rangers paid Panarin and Trouba a boatload of money.

Let's hope their skill and experience rubs off on the young guys and creates a winning atmosphere.

It's a lot easier for players to develop when they are not asked to carry the mail night in and night out...

I also hope any cap solution spares Kreider...
