No it wasn't you jamoke, in my FOLLOW-UP RESPONSE to your ACCUSATION, I informed you that AT MOST I was ENVIOUS of his hair, but either way, informed you further that I was not jealous...
Do you seriously think we are a bunch of insol dweebs sitting here crying about your childish antics in our parent's homes? You are on here DAILY being an insufferable bully, you constantly attack and lash out and take jabs at people and when they attempt to respond to you in a CIVIL manner, you act as if you just pushed your first girl on the playground, only you're a grown man and you shouldn't be on playgrounds, let alone anywhere near children of any kind. - BeadyEyedDouche

I'm done, have a good night. No one's "coming at you" dude, we're trying to talk some sense into you but whatever, the weed is already killing enough brain cells... But seriously man, you really need some (frank)ing friends, like, in real life. |

He’s really good. They’d want a steep price for him, you’d have to imagine. - PrinceChill
Maybe not as steep as you’d think. They need the salary cap space + he’s on the last year of his contract. If you trade for him you could probably get a 1st rd pick for him at the trade deadline, if you’re not contending for a playoff spot. If he was a RWer I’d be all over it. Gardiner probably is is the better way to spend the cap money |

“24% of all 5v5 goals are scored after the defending team had possession of the puck but failed to exit the zone. That's why zone exits are so crucial, and why we should study how to make them work”
This is an interesting stat and sheds light on why puck movers and guys who make quick decisions are so vital |

Agreed for the most part
This stat has its flaws like many other,
but exiting the zone with possession is important
Just getting the puck out isn’t good enough

Yeah but Vesey isn’t on the same level as Kreider.
A 2nd and a prospect for Kreider
Risto and Borgen for RNH
Gardiner 4 years $24m
Scandella to ARI for a 4th
hudwick and a 6th to anyone for a 7th
Buyout Sobotka

Sure. But this is an important measurement.
Sabres acquired two guys who excel at it. Plus Dahlin is an zone exit monster.
I think Botts has a D type |

I’m open to this idea. But I’m not sure the new customary price of Pekar+a 3rd gets it done.
But I love talking trade options. I feel like JBot has a deal or two left in him, before the season starts. As a well-known patient man, he’s willing to wait out the market for a desperate partner. I’ve said it before, and I mean it in a good way, he’s got a little Darcy in him. |

The cap is about $83 million, which means you can be at $91.3 million in salary until September ($83 x 110%). Callahan's $5.8 goes against that figure, because the LTIR figure/relief/whatever-you-want-to-call-it does not kick in until the beginning of the season.
By unloading Callahan, they have more room to work with before they get to that $91.3, which is their target (supposedly), for now. - buffalofan19

It would take a roster player + a first IMO.

For Kreider?
Do we even really want him?
Idk that we should be signing a 29year old physical player to a contract that takes him to 36
And that IF he’d even wanna re-sign here
I’d rather go after someone younger
Or at least someone who was signed to 3-4 more years at his age
Last thing we should be doing is giving up a lot for a rental
Kreider makes a lot more sense to a team who gunning for the Cup
We just aren’t there yet |

Sully,

Otherwise,

It’s just that simple |

It seems that way
I was worried that we were going with ALL “puck movers” though
We also need guys that can defend
Jokiharju could develop into a good defender
Samuelsson & Johnson are draft picks that seem like they could be the defender type
So maybe what Botts is really doing is just acquiring as many good players as possible and building depth
Then he can use that depth to shape us into a team that can compete with the big boys
I think that’s gonna realistically take longer than many on here want though |

Good job, cause that will happen. And when is your interview for your next GM job?
I will hang up and listen.
Or,
I am asking for a friend.
Not sure which...,,,, |

I think we have a great young D core to be honest.
Need a good LD behind Dahlin though |
