McDermott could win seven Super Bowls with this team and Nathan Peterman will still make him a national punchline.
- buffalofan19

I mean it was a horrible decision to trot him out there as the day 1 starter

I understand why they did but man that was bad

They were able to trade McCarron for a pick so it's not like they cut it

Last season was weird for sure and 5 pick Peterman will always haunt this fan base

The Raiders claiming him and Jon Gruden talking him up was comic relief.

I can't wait until week 3 when AB starts freaking out about Carr or the O-line or someone to the media.

I like Carr I think he is overrated by some but he is a top 10 QB and good enough to win with

But I want to see Peterman have to start a game and see Brown really blow up

It's amazing how Botterill can multi-task. He can win/tie arbitration cases and take a nap at the same time.

So because Andy Dalton made a miraculous play, the Bills management gets a longer leash?

Seems odd to give them more time based on luck.

- sbroads24

They still had a winning record, something the Sabres haven't sniffed at in about 3 GMs, and about 47 coaches.

[quote=jcragcrumple]No but someone like Leslie Frazier will pay the PRICE

The Bills mgmt is in a different spot. They've made the playoffs.

Hot take of the day : It is my firm belief that the Bills are still In a playoff draught. What are they up to now, 19 seasons ? The Chargers should have gone in instead of us...they were the better team and destroyed the Bills earlier in the season, not to mention we snuck in because of the Andy Dalton miracle 4th down pass. We definitely didn't deserve to get in, that's for sure. Only the stupid tiebreaker scenario helped us back in. I don't care that we actually played the Jaguars in January, I don't care what the record books now say - we DIDN'T get in.

Therefore, the draught is still on. I firmly believe this and nobody can change my mind.

PS, this is not the stupidest thing I've ever said.

*Nathan Peterman started that game and had a literal historically bad first half. The Bills win easily if Tyrod plays the whole game like he should have, (frank) Rick Dennison and the horse he rode in on.

Eh

He's between 10-15

Last year:

12th in passing yards
7th in completion percentage (starters)
averages .01 yards less per attempt than Aaron Rodgers

Dude has zero OL

We will see this year with him having Brown but you can make that argument for most of the QBs in the 10-20 range

They did, and then took a step back the next year.

And for the record I don’t want them fired either.

I think Beane has done a great job of rebuilding the team and their cap situation

But it is up to McDermott and his OC to put together a winning game plan...

in no particular order

rogers
mahomes
luck
newton
brees
wilson
brady
goff
ryan
watson
rivers

IMO those are the top 11 qbs

then a mixed bag

mayfield
allen
staff
big ben
wentz
cousins
prescott
trubisky
carr
daulton
winston

throw them all in a bucket and pull them at random

this is for qb talent, not fantasy of course

it's all on Allen and the O line

I have seen many highlight throws so far

I am optimistic and will be targeting allen for my second qb in every 2 qb leagues

I'd say that's pretty fair

I think this is the year you see Brady slip...(most of that is wishful thinking)

I also think this is Rivers last year

The health of the OL is scaring me a bit right now but it's early preseason

I hope Allen can take the next step, he is having some up and down practices but let's not forget the Bills D is no joke

Yup I mentioned that earlier. If Allen is average with our current team. 3,500 yards and 20-25 tds. We could win 9 games
