Could they put Singletary on the practice squad, potentially, to keep Yeldon.
If Singletary out performs Yeldon, I don't know how they would justify it.
Just a thought. - thatsapickle
Pretty sure he would be claimed immediately.
Singletary was a 3rd round pick
The UB qb possibly, could be snuck down to practice squad |

Oh, so you're saying 300 was in the QO, but maybe not the arb request? - Lunaion
Correct. The arb request was a 1 way deal, which would have needed to be at least 700K. The Sabres final offer was always 300K in Rochester. |

Not a chance in (frank).
You need to cut Singletary to put him on the PS. You don't cut 3rd round rookies. |

Not sure about cutting him?
Maybe trade him?
McCoy's a big play: difference maker. If the kid looks clearly better, at least split carries.
Too many young guys burst onto the screen at rb every year. Why cant it be our turn?
There going to pound the rock and play big defense
The Bill's just traded up to take him, they will use him
I see Singletary being the guy soon |

Yeldon = pass catcher
Gore = vet/North south, change of pace guy
Singletary = shifty/young legs
McCoy = shifty/old
Seems to me McCoy is the most expendable

I'd bet 50 right now that he's the starter next season. Aside from that, if Gore has another year in him, make him the north south guy for another year. 2020 UFA RB class has a boatload of backup talent. |

But he literally is like an older, way better TJ Yeldon. Who hasn't done absolute Richard so far in camp. |

Yes, good comparison
If our system is based on shifty, then I would think those 2 (McCoy and Singletary)would be safe. One of the other 2, could be used as a change of pace guy.
Leaving yeldon expendable
Yes he catches passes ,but so do the shifty guys |

A $100-150k house in Buffalo costs 400-500k+ in Denver.
And the food fkng blows. The amount of weed people smoke doesn't help. It's sh!t.
Food poisoning twice in 3 months after never having it once in my life growing up in Buffalo; and the amount of times I've sent food back or just threw it out because it was like eating cardboard or straight from a garbage can.
If you like chain restaurants though, this is the place for you. - BareMetal
Florida is the same. Food for the most part freaking blows.
Taxes, both no State Income Tax, and lower Property Tax has increased my disposable income by about $1,300 a month...which is eaten very quickly by a much higher cost of living ... 2,600 sqft home here is $435k, I sold the same sqft in Rochester for $285k. Insurances are insane due to Hurricanes and people who don't give a fvck about driving properly.
The weed is very good though. |

If he signed his QO, he would have signed a 2 way deal for 771,750/300,000.
If he won his arb case, he would have made, likely, 700,000/700,000
He lost his arb case, unofficially, so now he makes 700,000/300,000
He lost 71k in the NHL and 0 in the AHL. Assuming 300K was the original AHL offer from the Sabres. He rolled the dice and lost. His options were an extra 71K to play it safe (assuming he spends most of his time in Rochester, it's next to impossible he actually ever sees that extra 71K) or roll the dice for 400K, which his almost assuredly would see.
To summarize, he would be a fool not to fight for a 1 way deal, considering at least 90% of his season will be in Rochester. |

If they cut Yeldon instead of McCoy it wouldn't shock me. I think Singletary and Gore are locks, personally. Gore adds the vet leadership they love, and Beane praises him constantly. McCoy and Yeldon are the bubble guys for me.
They might not make a decision until or after PS game 3 |

Unless McCoy literally says "I quit", or he's traded, he's going to be penciled in as RB1. It's a foregone conclusion. Beane's said it many times. Yeldon's on the outside. |
