That song always reminds me of the song that plays during pee wee Herman’s nightmare.

Hey guys, time to get pumped up! Circus music is playing!!! Woooo!

There was a rock version of the piece that the Sabres used, but I could never find it.

I think Tennessee schools are bad overall.
They did some shady dealings down here and passed this voucher bullpoop.
There will be some hearings on how it was passed.
The Governor is a businessman that has no idea how to run a state.

Didn’t they also have some problems with the online schooling/scam?

Florida is the same. Food for the most part freaking blows.

Taxes, both no State Income Tax, and lower Property Tax has increased my disposable income by about $1,300 a month...which is eaten very quickly by a much higher cost of living ... 2,600 sqft home here is $435k, I sold the same sqft in Rochester for $285k. Insurances are insane due to Hurricanes and people who don't give a fvck about driving properly.
The weed is very good though.

I live in CT (high cost of living, high property taxes) and have a golf condo in Estero, Florida. Taxes in Fl are about $3,500, CT about $17,000. Eventually I plan on living 6+ months in Florida (so I have no state income tax on my tax returns). There's nothing quite like FL in the months of December-April. The only drawback is the people tend to be be VERY old, at least in these golf condos. It's a little less so in places like Sarasota (where I might eventually end up).

If he signed his QO, he would have signed a 2 way deal for 771,750/300,000.

If he won his arb case, he would have made, likely, 700,000/700,000

He lost his arb case, unofficially, so now he makes 700,000/300,000

He lost 71k in the NHL and 0 in the AHL. Assuming 300K was the original AHL offer from the Sabres. He rolled the dice and lost. His options were an extra 71K to play it safe (assuming he spends most of his time in Rochester, it's next to impossible he actually ever sees that extra 71K) or roll the dice for 400K, which his almost assuredly would see.

To summarize, he would be a fool not to fight for a 1 way deal, considering at least 90% of his season will be in Rochester.

I follow your logic, the bold part is what I seriously question...hence the won 230 comment.

Anyone know if that Schoenfeld album was any good? It would be nice if there was a rocking tune in there that we could use during the games, like Gloria for the Blues.

I live in the Sarasota area, Lakweood Ranch in Bradenton more specifically. It literally borders Sarasota.
Overall I like it...hot as a mofo this time of year and muggy as hell.
The other 9 months are GREAT. There are old people everywhere, even Sarasota, Bradenton etc.
Lots of folks do the six months + 1 day for tax purposes like you said. I'm full time here as I never wanted to come back to upstate/western NY. Christ, the weather is as bad there in Late June through mid-August anyway so I never saw the attraction of splitting residences...too much of a hastle antway... but to each their own...do what feels right!

For profit schools?
That was the entire country.
Or is there something else you're referring to?

Could they put Singletary on the practice squad, potentially, to keep Yeldon.

If Singletary out performs Yeldon, I don't know how they would justify it.

Just a thought.

It is? 80-85 and medium humidity compared to 90+ and high humidity is comparable? Disagree on that.

Additionally, it's been 55-60 and cool the past few mornings.

My whole family and in-laws were female doging about 90 degrees, and or rain back in Roch and in Buffalo.

I left in 2017 after 59 years there, and I remember the last 12 years when we had our cottage on Conesus Lake, just south of Rochester, and I took the last 2 weeks of July into early August as vacation there the heat was killer...90+ everyday...humidity isn't as bad for sure, but it was hot as hell there too. So hot I never had to cut the lawn in July through mid August. That is what I am referring too. But whatever.

Well mid-Sept to mid-June is glorious here, that I will say. Cool watching the Sabres out on the lanai in shorts in Jan and Feb!

I can speak to this. His first album is an absolute rock odyssey. But it pains me to say there may not be a “goal-songable” tune on there.

The trickiness of choosing a goal song lies in the fact that it’s just about 20 seconds or so of music that’s really used. Gotta get to the hook quickly. “Hey Bulldog” might come closest, but I think there’s bound to be a more suitable song out there...somehow. I like the idea though.

The only month I hate in Buffalo is March

(frank) March with a rusty spatula. April sucked this year, and parts of May as well, but March, man, March is the (frank)ing pits

I was hoping that there were some exemptions to the Practice Squad, but I have no idea how it works.

It seems like Yeldon or McCoy could be as good as gone at this rate

“You Always Hurt the One You Love” would be funny after a fight.
Jim’s artistic choice of a downtempo “Great Balls of Fire” disqualifies it.

Buffalo is different than Rochester. While Buffalo enjoys clear skies most days even in winter, the skies in Rochester are grey and gloomy from October through April.
It affects people there incredibly so...seasonal disorder.

Sunday would be my guess, since McCabe meets with them on Sunday.
