“BetOnline’s” over/under for the Sabres’ point total this upcoming year is 83.5. Apparently, they’re not big believers in this roster surgery. |

I live in the Sarasota area, Lakweood Ranch in Bradenton more specifically. It literally borders Sarasota.
Overall I like it...hot as a mofo this time of year and muggy as hell.
The other 9 months are GREAT. There are old people everywhere, even Sarasota, Bradenton etc.
Lots of folks do the six months + 1 day for tax purposes like you said. I'm full time here as I never wanted to come back to upstate/western NY. Christ, the weather is as bad there in Late June through mid-August anyway so I never saw the attraction of splitting residences...too much of a hastle antway... but to each their own...do what feels right! - IonSabres
Sarasota is building like crazy, especially with that huge “art” renovation their doing. Problem with living in downtown Sarasota is getting to the beach. Longboat Key is really quiet and really old, but I like it a lot. Lido key is hipper but they have sand issues on their beach (washes away). I may end up on longboat, though the huge advantage of my current place is I fly direct from nyc to ft Myers and my place is literally 15 minutes from the airport.

Buffalo is different than Rochester. While Buffalo enjoys clear skies most days even in winter, the skies in Rochester are grey and gloomy from October through April.
It affects people there incredibly so...seasonal disorder. - IonSabres
There was plenty of sun when I was in school in Rochester. The Krout lives there, ask him. |

I have a part interest in a place on Anna Maria. I love to visit, but I don’t know if I’d want to move there. |

It’s cloudy a lot in the winter.
But it only bothers the mentally weak. |

Anna Marie Island is awesome, as is Siesta Key for prime beaches. Siesta Beach is for tourists, although the "sightseeing" is rather terrific, while Lido is a favorite of the locals...and yes, they do have to dredge it every so many years. I was at Longbow 10 years ago, access u less you live their is tough now.
Why not Naples? I here it is terrific, but have not yet been there yet myself. |

Anna Maria has great beaches but was really busy. Took 2 hours to get a table last time there but drank in the meantime |

84 would be...kinda underwhelming. Picking 12th or so, missing the playoffs, wait till next year, rinse, repeat. |

I lived there for 25 years, trust me, it is fvcking cloudy from mid Oct through April...non freaking stop. The lack of sunshine there sucks ass compared to Buffalo. The completely insane live there, lol.

I suggested “We Did It” from Dora the explorer and somebody seconded it, so this conversation is over! I get $.10 each time it’s played and am eagerly looking forward to my $15 check at the end of the year! |

It's 4 wins better than last year. Conceivably Botterill fired Housley because he held them back from more than 4 wins.
Homie keeps saying a variation of this: is it Botterill's roster, or the coach? Let's see |

I think it might have been from Cheap Trick, but maybe with the drum track toned down? For some reason the YouTube video won't embed, so here's a link:

Naples is very nice very expensive. To buy anything with an ocean view their costs millions. We go there for dinner a lot. Beaches aren’t any better than The ft Myers/Estero/Bonita beach ones |

Maybe I should temper my expectations. I was hoping to challenge for a wildcard spot.
One extra win every other month, over last season’s totals would feel like marching in place. But, we wouldn’t be last, so there’s that. |

It is both.
The evidence will support it.
And, hopefully they can unload several players with expiring contracts at the TDL for some decent prospects, and picks that can be packaged for NHL-ready prospects.
That helps restock and the Cap Money allows them to go big game hunting next offseason.
Things are looking cherry! |
