I get that but the Q is who?
Present:
Ferland EP Boeser
Pearson Bo JTM
Sven Gaudette JV
Leivo Beagle Sutter
LE (Roussel)
1-2yrs into the Future:
Hoglander EP Boeser
Podkolzin Bo JTM
Ferland Gaudette JV
Lind Beagle MacEwen - Nighthawk
bolded above would be my ideal 3rd line for next year. id even consider goldy depending on how hard he worked this summer |

I know we wait to see in the preseason but I'd be really reluctant to take a healthy Sven out of the top 6. I understand that Pearson had some chemistry with Bo but Sven has had more and longer standing chemistry with Bo. Its all about Sven's health... aside from that he is one of the most skillful and consistent Canucks in the top 6.
I think Sven being out for so long last season has removed him from the line up dice that people roll in here for all the wrong reasons.

I really don't see Lind on a checking line, not fast or strong enough or good enough defensively.
But assuming the prospects all reach their potential in a couple of years(unlikely), I'd say:
Hog - EP - Brock
JTM - Bo - Pod
Ferland - Gaudette - Virtanen/Mack
Virtanen/MacK - Beagle/Sutter - Checker/Roussel |

My hope is that JTM goes from 2LW to 3C when the kids arrive. I’d love to see this top 9...

I know people will poop their pants when it happens but Miller as 3rd c is probably going to happen eventually and he'll be a good fit. But what about Gaudette? 4rth line?

I think Lind is more likely to get in a game first since he's older, but in terms of who's more likely to be break into the line-up as a regular first, my money would be on Madden. I'm just not seeing much to get excited about with Lind, his game doesn't translate well in an energy or checking role since he lacks speed so he's really gonna have to translate his game offensively if he wants to make the NHL.
It's a shame that Gadjovich is a slug, the rest of his game is ideal for a depth forward. He's got good hands and hockey sense, good in front of the net, and winning board battles. |

Drama queen?
You are the poster boy for drama queen. Every angle.... thread after thread opening up in the forums so you can cry your face off about other posters. Thread after thread in here pouring tears over anything you can spin a b!tchy narrative about. Now all this sniveling about being written off as "not a real fan" because people are bored af with your routine... trip on that lip much?
So now it's all this paranoia that your nemesis has returned and the lie that I was the first to stick up for him? I never said anything about him at all... nothing. I only said the clique was triggered... and I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one that doesnt want to watch you burn the thread down every day all over again. Is it not ironic that you are pointing your finger about drama queens after putting everyone through that poop for 2 years.
You really are a dishonest poster. - boonerbuck

I was about to agree on Lind getting the call up chance first but then thought about the possibility that Madden gets a couple of games late this season like the other college prospects that signed at the end of their final college season. Not sure Lind gets a call up at all this season.

Not sure... My ideal 4th line would be full of Rypiens/Dorsetts/Roussels... Dudes who fly around and hit/agitate/fight... Provide a couple energy boost shifts per period & maybe some PK contribution. That middle 6 I want is defensively responsible enough to not need a dedicated shut down 4th. |

Dorsett was the perfect 4th liner. What he did for Bo in his first year was incredible. Got goals, got assists, protected everyone, hit, provided energy. I loved rypien as a energy guy and a fighter, but he wasnt a very good hockey player. Roussel I think is a great 4th line candidate too. All in all, 4th liners cant get away with being marginal players but good fighters anymore. |

Yeah, I liked Dorsett. Never understood how some fans actually disliked him. I don't remember Rypien's on-ice play too much, but man he was an incredible fighter. |

Poorly constructed roster & even worse execution of getting the vets to augment them. Wasted years & prospects damaged resulted. Add poor D & Goalies & it’s a mess. - Nighthawk
Right and that was my point. There's more to it than just getting top picks |

Dorsett was a gamer. I really liked him as a player, as well as a good team guy.
Rypien was an incredible fighter. I just remember thinking that the guy made the free arm block look so easy as it was always his go to. Remember him fighting Hal Gill and thinking he was nuts.
As a player though he was pretty near awful. I remember him being worse than goldy defensively. Offensively I dont remember him being good at all either, which kind of show in his stats |

You really nailed it....he should keep his misery to himself. Personally i don't think in his condition he should allowed in public or online.
It's funny how he whines about nuck4u but he was the issue all along. He just loves to whine and cry all day because of his own problems
And you're right he shows up and destroys the thread daily. Instead he should go see a professional so he whine daily and have them give him drugs |

Hmmmm. Never liked that comment when talking opinions. Opinions aren't math equations with right or wrong answers. Fans value a particular player's skill set differently. |

My favourite was against Boris Valábik. Not just because of the fight but also the interview after with Bieksa and how he said they all felt bad for Valabik because he had no idea what he was getting into. |

I suppose there are fans who just don't like a certain players game. This wasn't aimed at them.
It was meaning those who don't get that players like Dorset are necessary for team success, not just goal scoring. |
