@NHLNetwork's list of the NHL's Top 50 Prospects, the Rangers had four players: Kaapo Kakko (2), Vitali Kravtsov (12), Igor Shesterkin (20), and Adam Fox (30). The Rangers were one of two NHL teams that had four prospects on the list. #NYR - jimbo83

Haven't watched the summer showcase, but from what I've heard, he's just been doing 'ok'...
Got some info about the Rangers prospects from the tourney? |

yeah, seeing his most recent clips he looks almost insane
his season this year coming up in Wisconsin could be an offensive explosion considering Alex Turcotte and Cole Caufield are joining him
40 point season? 50 point?
he had 22 points in 26 games as a freshman before he got hurt
it's gonna be something to watch |

K'Andre Miller is going to be an NHL star some day. He is just so incredibly good.
He's smart, decisive, physically strong, has good instincts, is an explosive skater and I am expecting big things from him at
@BadgerMHockey
this year.

all I've seen on twitter is people raving about how K'Andre has looked and none of these people are affiliated with the Rangers or are their fans

when has a player being hyped on the internet ever actually affected his play?
I'll hang up and listen.... |

he was a player given exceptional status when he was 14 years old and never lived up that particular hype.
he fell to the third round by the time he was drafted
K'Andre Miller is a late bloomer hockey wise, didn't even play hockey until a teenager and is just scratching this surface still at what he can do out there
just a bad comparison and poor attempt at creating negativity. |

ok, I should've just just said Sean Day and K'Andre Miller are exactly the same and not tried to illustrate how that could be wrong
people who tell other's they need puthy constantly are probably the one's who actually need puthy brah |

This place has become such a poopshow...
Between someone hating Panarin, a (frank)ing JT Miller fight nobody cares about, and someone clearly stating they know nothing about K’andre saying he’ll be like Sean (frank)ing Day just to stir up some poop...I think I’ve had enough for a while.
Enjoy the rest of your summers, if that’s even in some of you to do. |

Its pretty interesting how fans of this team crap on their own prospects and future. People here have a serious allergy to optimism. |

So much fighting and bickering going on here, we are all collectively restless, lets take a moment to focus on something positive ----- our fantastic off-season!
Last season, Quinn came to us and instilled new systems, work ethic and accountability. Rangers missed the playoffs by a wide margin, but they played hard, entertaining hockey. The days of "turning the other cheek" from previous coach AV ended and the Rangers were 2nd in the league in fighting majors. Fights don't win games, but displays a new mentality, a never quit, never back down style of play that we haven't seen here in a long time.
Problems with the roster were numerous. Poor defense led by the 3 "S" players: Staal, Shatty and Smith. Our PK was near the bottom of the league. We lacked high end talent and explosive scoring. Hank slumped late in the year --- was he just tired or aging?
Now look at the changes that are coming for this upcoming seasons' roster:
We got rid of at LEAST 1 of the 3 "S" players, Shatty was bought out and there is a good chance Smith doesn't make the final roster and may play at Hartford. Neal Pionk played much of last season on our top pairing. Jacob Trouba is such a quantum upgrade over Pionk that cannot be emphasized enough! Adam Fox joining the team made Shatty expendable. Hajek, Rykov, and Lindgren represent the possibility that Staal may be our 7th defenseman. Defense has unquestionably been upgraded.
Artemi Panarin was brought in as a UFA. He will replace and upgrade Jimmy Vesey in our top 6 in another quantum way. Kaapo Kakko was the prize of winning the 2nd spot in the lottery. His arrival creates excitement and competition amongst our forwards. Kravtsov and Kakko upgrade our teams overall skill. Jake Elmer will get a look in camp and Lettieri knows this may be his last chance to make our team. McKegg will either be a leader in Hartford or a gritty 4th liner on Broadway. This all represents a considerable rise in our overall roster skill.
Shesty was our 3rd Russian player to leave the KHL, sign a contract and come to North America. He will provide competition with Georgi for the backup spot to Hank. I expect Lundquist to have a bounce back year because for the first time in years, he HAS to be looking over his shoulder at young talent coming for his job. If he regresses, he will sit!
Finally, keep in mind, with all of our trades and deals --- we still have 9 picks in the 2020 draft, one that is supposed to be very deep and talented. Is this a perfect team? Hardly! But from where we sat just one year ago, this has been perhaps the greatest off-season in team history!
Stop the petty arguments. Pass me the Kool-Aid, give me the pom-poms!
