Hey bodiva when is eklund going to implement a mute user option? Would solve everything and more people would post here for sure since there are certain people that have to be condescending towards everyone elses opinions?

From my understanding they are doing UAT user testing now with a roll out date 10/1

Lindlblom may not have scored as much as I would have liked ( 17G, 16A ), but he usually seemed to put himself in the proper position on the ice. I believe the goals will come as he gets more playing time. His chemistry with Patrick was obvious. Hopefully that gets even better this season?

The poopty thing is, Lindy could have had higher totals if Hak didn’t reward his solid early season play by demoting him in the line up and replacing him with Wiese on the 2nd line.

Horses like beets though, so I can see why Hak like Wiese

I really like Oscar Lindblom and it looks like he is a keeper for me. He steadily improves year by year and hopefully he can work himself into a top six role. Competition is going to be tough and I see him likely on line 3. Farabee is the one prospect that stands out for me and making the team is possible. Be interesting if he goes back to college or turns pro.

In today's NHL you need balance and at least 3 lines that can score. Whether he is on the 2nd or the 3rd line, he looks like a quality player for the future.

I think we now have enough depth that we can go back to the big 3 (28-14-93). You see what these lines can do to dictate games around the league (COL,BOS,CGY).

Good idea and even better point!

This is very true. Now, can you explain why non-star players, such as Lehtera, Weise, Vandevelde, etc, were given almost this same exact leeway, over easily more talented players such as Lindblom, Konency, et al?

I would also be on board with this, we should have enough talent up and down the roster to not have to break these guys up.

28-14-93
23-13-11
25-19-?

Can’t wait for this season to start! It’s like turning the page to start a new book. It will be great to have current hockey on which to focus.

Let me preface this by saying I dint agree with this method, but it's because the coaches know those players cant grow and have probably peaked in their development so there is nothing they can learn from being demoted/benched

but at the cost of robbing younger players of game experience, working their way through mistakes, soaking up everything they can, for multiple games? I do agree that once in a while, and I do emphasize once, that a player can gain a whole lot after a bad run, and being sent to the press box. for one game, two tops, you can see the game from a different angle. you can reset, you can ask questions, you can see things, as I said, differently than you would being on the ice. but clearly this would happen with a degree of regularity throughout Hak's watch and I think it is a huge contributing factor as to why he is no longer the bench boss. I think he severely delayed this teams growth.

I don't buy the argument that Hak was a bad player development coach. I dont think he was a great coach overall but I dont have any qualms with him there. Ghost and Provy both had amazing seasons under him. TK was a b2b 24 goal scorer. Sanheim developed nicely.

People getting into arguments replying endlessly to each other means more hits. It's unfortunately never going to happen.
