... "gerbe" logic ... - homiedclown
lol |
|
|
|
wikipedia and numerous hockey sites and the back of every eichel hockey card disagrees with you
so if this is a deep draft, and cozens would go second or third in a typical draft, what does the "gerbe" logic say
scratch that I would rather mow my yard then get into a fantasy debate with you about men - homiedclown
I understand what Gerbe is implying here, he just did not word it properly at all. Eichel clearly went 2nd overall behind McDavid in 2015 but a lot of the scouts and executives said he had first overall type talent and would have been the first overall pick in the few drafts prior.
If we are looking at drafts from 2012-2019 the only forward prospects that you can argue were ahead of Eichel were McDavid and Matthews (although that could even be seen as a toss up). |

Should the Canadians keep up a 30 goal player.. No? Ok, your logic is flawed AF, not that that really needed to be said. I've seen no one say give him a shot no matter what, which is what you're suggesting. If he earns it, he'll stay. If not, see ya soon ala Skunk.
I also don't get how you feel about Cole. He can easily slot himself on the side, and play the game, but be a pp specialist.. but he'll score 30.. but shouldn't be there.. - SDSabre[/quote
I’m saying as just a power play specialist |

Corey Pronman's "Standout Prospects At The World Junior Camps"
Ryan Johnson, D, Buffalo
Johnson stood out to me consistently through the camp, and even as a 2001 in the 2000 age group, he looks like a strong candidate for the World Junior team this winter. His skating and hockey sense looked very good. “He was a pleasant surprise for us. He has quickness and elusiveness,” said USA general manager John Vanbiesbrouck. The skating was always evident when I watched Johnson last season, but the offense was inconsistent. He was a second power play guy on the eventual USHL champion and some games I didn’t see him make a ton of plays. He was very good down the stretch, though, and made a lot of tough plays in this camp.
“I believe I have a lot of potential, especially on the offensive side. Being deceptive with the puck is a big part of my game,” said Johnson. - TheSabresTaco
I was hoping we would take Brink or Kaliyev at that point but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Johnson. Mock drafts had him going in the 28-40 range and he was a late riser. If the offensive game comes around we have the steal of the draft. |

Seems like Botts and the Scouting staff know a thing or two.
Can't wait to get through this upcoming season and be rid of the deadwood on this team and start to see the pipeline of talent emerge.

Johnson is an elite skater, even if his offensive game doesn’t come around he can still be our new Pysyk. However if his offensive game develops then he is a definite top 4 lock |

Did you relate to 'Danger'? Reminds me of you a bit, heart is in the right place but has no filter and challenges people out of his class.

The only different between Cole Caulfield and Dylan Cozens is that one is ready to win the Rocket this year and the other one will be released in two years. |
