Best NHL Memory: (also 1st NHL game) 1986 Adams Div playoffs game 3, Quebec @ Hartford. The Whale was the 4th seed but went north and won games 1 & 2. Completed the 3 game sweep with a beat down at home. I just remember how loud it was in the building, brass bonanza played early and often.

Best Sabres game: I've only been to a few Sabres home games so this isn't exactly a 'classic', but Gerbs will dig it. Last home game in 2011 vs Flyers. Sabres need the win to clinch the playoffs. Miller had been hurt so Enroth started but they brought Miller in for the 3rd. Gerbe scores his 2nd of the game on a spin-o-rama backhand to the upper corner to tie it. Vanek wins it in OT.

Worst Sabres Game: I was in Boston to see Lucic steamroll Miller. Ugh.

Most memorable goal I saw was in the old Aud. Game 6. 1994. 4 overtimes vs. New Jersey. Dave Hannan.

5. 1982 series vs the north stars, sabres were one of the top 6 teams in the playoffs and in the second rd vs the stars, lost game 1 in ot, steve payne goal. Team was flat the rest of the series as if that game sucked the life out of them.

I've been in attendance for a couple playoff blowout wins, both against Philly, 8-2 in 06 after which Lindy and Hitch had their little war of words, and 8-0 in 01. And both times the Flyers acted like bumholes after the game was lost, which was midway through the first in both cases.

But the most memorable was the Ottawa brawl game in 07.
