His salary this year is 1 mil his bonus has already been paid . Whether he plays for the Manitoba Moose , Utica Comets or Abbottsford Heat the Canucks still owe him only one more million this year.

Nobody in this city, in the media , or Canucks management want Loui here including Loui himself. All I am saying is I would be very surprised if he is a is on the Canucks roster .

If you are waiting for prospects to develop still, I don't see how the team would be better today. They would have even less NHL talent. I don't know how that makes the team better.

Because all other things being equal, they would still have signed the same Free agents, so the only players they wouldn’t have, would be Sutter (who they need to trade to create cap space), Baertschi (who is one injury away from mush), Pearson (whatever) and Goldobin (who they still could have acquired as part of the Hansen deal - that and the Burrows deals were clearly “rebuild” deals).

He doesn't want to be here and they don't want him here. Elliot Freidman has reported that he has been told he has to accept a trade or he will be playing in Utica.
