I didn’t mean they don’t end up eating the deer meat
I meant they aren’t out there hunting bc they’re starving & that’s what they NEED to do to “feed their family” - jdfitz77
It's their CHOICE to hunt as a way to help feed their family. No one suggested that it was needed as their sole means of survival. You stated that they only do it because "killing things makes them feel good somehow", as if if they're some knuckle dragging mouth breathers who stand over their kill beating their chest while they bark at the moon. Of course there are irresponsible idiots (cowardly "canned" hunts, or going to Africa to shoot a lion, or even old Mr Cody slaughtering bison on the prairie), but they are far outnumbered by conscientious hunters, and your generalized condemnation of all hunters was way off base.

Just imagine if he lived in 1910 no fridges. No grocery stores to buy the stuff. Dude would be ending up like Chris Johnson Mccandless
Larry- best defensive center we have, by A LOT
Girgs- best defensive winger we have, by A LOT
Wilson- who cares? He’ll hardly play, if at all
Then expiring:
Vesey- what’s wrong with him for a 3rd? We’ll see
Sheary- another low risk move. He’s been “ok”
Sobotka- YOU defended the terrible trade, so...
Scandella- rough year, but we all liked the trade
Bogo- actually looked decent last year, so...
Hunwick- doubt he plays much for us

Opinions vary
I’m sure much of what u say is true
But even the conscientious ones still hunt for the thrill... of killing...
I think that’s messed up

Morons get stuck trying to go find the bus, the very same river that stranded him, strand a bunch of idiots. I just read a story a couple weeks ago where a group got stranded and had to be rescued because they ran out of food.
I think his point is (I may be wrong) that the whole This is still Tim Murray’s mess narrative is not really true.
This is Botts team he has been building for now 3 years. If it sucks it is 100% on him. - ImThatGuy
How do you BUILD a team that can be a legit contender though?
Through the draft obviously
We really don’t know yet how Botts’ drafts will turn out
But it looks like he is gathering talent & depth at Center & on defense
I think that’s a GREAT idea
And in the meantime,
he’s trying to make us competitive while we wait on the kids to develop
I'm being totally honest here, how do we know it was Pegula?
I can't absolve him of not getting more value out of that.
I will say his hands were (probably) pretty tied but what came back was not good enough. This is coming from someone that fully supported moving him as well.
I still think it was the right call, he wasn't what he was in Buffalo that he was in STL. Through a perfect storm of events though, that will go down as a horrible trade.
I mean who would've guessed:
1) They keep one piece in a role he wasn't ready for (Thompson)
2) The person they have pegged for 2C just flat out quits.
3) A decent team rides a really hot goalie to the SC (that's my uniformed take anyone feel free to correct me)
4) The piece from Buffalo has a great year.
After working a shift in the booming downtown scene and traveling to it’s luxurious apartment complex in suburban cheektavegas, the expert on rural living, aka the virus, now shares its thoughts on hunting.
The virus’s lonely late nights are filled with jumping into old conversations to argue his worthless opinions.
So where are we at with this virus?
Hockey? No one agrees or enjoys it’s opinions or speculations
Football? Give the fairy some poms poms
Hunting? It bought a flannel shirt from kohl’s on sale once.

Sure, all that stuff has validity
But you know that’s not what I’m talking about
The average hunger is hunting for “sport”
Not to cull herds, not to defend himself from bears, etc etc etc
They kill things bc it makes them feel good for some reason
I think that’s pretty messed up - jdfitz77
Most hunters hunt to put food in their freezer, as someone that hunted for 30 years I've never enjoyed killing something. you couldn't be more off base....
And no I'm not an exception…. almost everyone of my friend's are exactly the same.
I love people that think they know what other people are thinking...
Wild not given permission to interview Drury. Interesting that we asked at one point as well. I didn't know that - jcragcrumple
That was announced at the time, I knew that we asked and were denied. I think one of the big NHL insiders said it at the time, so it was public knowledge at the time.
