I will also agree with the random Yotes fan that EP will likely score less goals, but I expect more assists to make up for it. Unless he suddenly shoots more, which is something I'd love to see since he has such a lethal shot. Maybe an improved LW linemate and better puck moving defense will give him more shooting opportunities.


I know the initial reaction is to call that poster an idiot and/or troll, but he's right about a 20% shooting percentage being unsustainable. EP has to shoot more to make up for sh% regression .

We truly won't know until we see team chemistry with the new players and how the new PP shapes out. Horvat-Boeser should also be improving plus the Quinn Hughes factor should all help EP get his goal levels up. Sure it may not be massive but I bet he scores a few more in his second season.

Yes, he could have spread out the minutes, sure they are all bad, but Biega, Gudbranson and Del Zotto could easily have absorbed a few more minutes each, but Green thought it best to play Stecher over his talent level. Bring up defense from the Comets, come on there were alternatives.
