-Fox grew up a ranger fan wanted to play for the rangers not yet played - 9 years younger than Shattenkirk
-Shattenkirk - grew up a ranger fan wanted to play for the rangers - did not work out well
Drury - grew up a ranger fan wanted to play for the rangers- had it's ups and downs - could potentially be the future GM
this dream these players have can go really well or really bad

Love the $200 game... Granted I realize you really fall for the players you love and it's tough to think about who I've known since I started watching Hockey in the early 90's but it's a matter of who was here for a small window?

Can actually first remember watching the Rangers in 1983-84 and with a passion and religiously 85-86. SO MANY players have come & gone in that time. Mind boggling, I can only imagine how old school feels.

I'm so glad I came in just after the Islanders dynasty as a Ranger fan. Came across that Dave Maloney interview with Don Gould post 84 heartbreaking series and can only cringe thinking if I was old enough to really feel that pain how hard it would be. Jimmy I'm thinking of you since you are a little older than me and growing up on LI with the Isles fans as vociferous as they were back then coupled with their hate for the Rangers. UGGH

Was in NYC for the first time in '78. My dad was some sort of 'rocket scientist' and was in NYC, Dayton and Houston a few times a year. We was at the Garden watching a Rangers game, but I've got no idea against who. Remember I had a Rangers jersey on though
