Bottom line is the Leafs need to secure as many points as they can and not fizzle any easy points away. What looks like no Gardiner, Zaitsev or Hainsey on the defensive end; the Leafs should be vastly improved. (Insert Barrie and Ceci). With the Leafs struggling on the penalty kill, removing Kadri and his penalty minutes may help the Leafs keep the puck out of the net.

So what do you think, 40+ wins for Andersen and an improved defense in front of him…can he take the Vezina?

Pessimistic Pete here. Anderson has been a stud, but age is going to catch him one day. I think your RD additions are FANTASTIC! However, your embarrassing shots against per game, paired with Reilly being your only D inked next season makes me believe this season is your best hope. Next year you will be scrambling for a new D core to fit your cap strapped team. Will Freddy still be good? If so, it will be his final year under contract, and I am not a fan of any other goalies in your system. Sure, lots can change in that span, but I feel this season will be Freddy's best chance at going the distance!

100% Bike Guy. He’s got a couple L7’s for a chip on his shoulder, has been doing Navy Seal type training and is at a good age to really move into the top 3-5 G’s this year. Cup or bust for The Great Dane

Too bad we don’t have a coach that will allow the talent to outscore the opponent. Young Dubas must realize that that Babcock was great for the rebuild, but has reached his best before date and is now holding this team back.
