I didn’t say I “know” anything. I said, “it sure seems unlikely”. Just my opinion. I don’t blame him for his injuries and I don’t blame the Flyers for wanting to improve their defense right now. - Dkos
I didn't say that you did say you knew anything. |

Ghost also had one other poor season. So far it's been two good, two bad. I think the concern about what player shows up this fall is justified.
I don't think he'll be a scapegoat but if he has another bad year the expectations for him have to come way back down to earth imo. - hereticpride
Ghosts's 'bad' season are better than the best for a lot of current and past Flyers dmen in terms of point production and possession. He's likely gonna be in the top-5 dmen point producers in franchise history after this year is done. In a couple of seasons he ought to catch Kimmo for 3rd all-time. Think about that. |

so how long until Gabe is fired?
i don't think the Phils are going to come back Harper's HR production is down - 2Real
Hilarious he's been leading off this series. |

No, they won't. I've seen this movie before. Some have already decided that he's the next whipping boy. Hayes will be the preferred option for others, while Braun will fill in any gaps
It's already been decided - AllInForFlyers
Well Flyers fans are pretty stupid, by and large. |

My hope is that Gostisbehere and Myers play so well that it forces the coaches hands and they play better than a player like Braun, increasing their ice time. That is what would be best for the Flyers.

They went completely off the rails after McCutchen went down. 1-3 can't get on base so why give Harper anything to hit at 4?
I wanted to throw something at the screen the other day when the tv crew were trying to make excuses for Kapler saying "you know the fans and media gave Charlie a hard time here too when he first showed up and look how that turned out." |

it isnt clogging anything. It is possible they dont think highly of Morin. Whole new regime. so we can sit here saying he is getting "blocked" as maybe in their eyes he is just another body. - daryl stanley
8 D is a clog, didnt they just sign Morin to a new deal |

prior GM signed him; it was cheap and smart. new gm may not think highly of him.
I am not so sure he gets claimed if sent down in October. Most teams have their roster set.
8 isnt a clog, false narrative. It will sort itself out as it always does.
Can hagg still be waived without getting claimed? doubt it but not sure |

Sending a 1st round pick you've put years of developing into down through waivers would be a disaster.
Myers is the only guy up on the big club that is waiver exempt. It would really suck to send him down over roster issues. |

Kapler is a joke. If Klentak won’t pull the plug on this clown, fire them both. |

how would it be a disaster? he is a bust at this point. The reason dont matter. he was drafted 6 years ago and no results.
Now I dont see them waiving him but i wont be shocked if they did.
if he moves on and becomes an nhl regular good for him. it happens all across the league. |

He's 24 years old and has had injuries and other prospects ahead of him. Until he plays some games and we see what he is I don't see how you can so matter-of-factly call him a bust.
And that's coming from me who is a frustrated with the timeframe as anyone. |

he is a bust at this point. You can spin it anyway you want. Regardless of the circumstances imo.
I believe morin will get to play a lot of preseason games; In those games he will log
a lot of minutes. Then they will make a decision obviously which way they want to go.
I am not so sure they have a lot of confidence in him. |

I believe it will be prior to the opener. He will lose any value he has if they wait as he isn’t gonna play. |

Not sure selling low as teams know what he brings. Now if sits the bench and they move him in December yes I agree with you. That’s why I think prior
What is he worth? |
