. If the Islanders want to pay a guy with 5 career playoff goals as if he's Wayne Gretzky and pay the Leafs more assets then the Kings paid the Oilers to get Gretzky then they can go right ahead. If the stories of the Marner camp's inflexibility and crazy demands are true I don't know how the Leafs can go forward with that player on the payroll and in the dressing room anyway. Frankly, I don't know if any team could or would. That includes the Islanders.
