Agreed. Also I'm pretty split on EP vs Bo mainly because I feel like Bo wants is more than EP does but I like EP's mentality more. Bo reminds me of Henrik, not a bad captain and clearly respected by his peers, but just doesn't seem like a natural leader of men.

I cast my vote for Bo. The C doesn’t mean much to the team locker room — that we all know — so it’s more about being the intermediary between refs and media and fans. Why force EP in that when he doesn’t enjoy it as much? I love his competitiveness, I can relate to it, but sometimes as we all know you say some dumb and short things out of that competitiveness. Bo is better suited to handle all that in my opinion.

And Henrik was the best captain in Canucks history, so if Bo becomes anything near that I’d be thrilled.

As long as Van isn't giving up a pick 1-19 next season i'm fine with TB having that pick. Will be some mistakes in there and i'll regret not having the pick but my board is different then yours and the late 2nd to whoever gets it at the TDL also won't matter.

Petey is the leader of this team. I loved that he told managment last year to go out and get some top 6 players. That is who I am placing my money on as the next captain.

I like Petey's tenacity especially with the press...but Bo should be the captain of this club. My fear is that Petey will get it just because he is the best player on the team and that shouldn't be the case. Bo has shown the qualities over the past 5 seasons. Too small a sample size to make Petey the captain just yet. I just hope that if Petey does get the C that Bo doesn't pout about it like Subban did in MTL lol

Honestly, if they don't give the C this season to Bo who is well beyond ready and deserving and best qualified, they don't plan on ever giving it to him. They go with 4 A's until EP is ready.

In that scenario I see long term plans to move Bo before his contract is up.
