I don't know if it was a good trade or not but the overhaul of the team is much better. For the first time in many years I see a NHL roster.

When Benning has his mind made up he is more committed than Dr. John Hammond.

A lot of these rankings have a lot of East Coast bias. I don't put much stock into them. I like Hughes and I like V-Pod so that is what matters to me. I read them and move on and wait for the next ranking tomorrow.

While the idea in principle of giving up a 1st for this team is still not really acceptable, we have to emphasize the fact that Julien BriseBois took a gamble on that 1st becoming a player even as good as Miller, let alone better.

And yes, they were forced into that move.

It's not a steal but it's fine, one of Bennings best trades IMO.
