that's just in the movies. people (outside of hockeybuzz) are generally nice and not looking to hurt anybody's feelings. if you strike up a conversation and the girl isn't interested they usually try to let you down easy. and if they are mean about it well then it's better that you didn't end up dating that person anyway because if they're mean in that situation they're probably mean in all situations.
