Bill the college player, now UFA, that interested me is Chase Priskie, RHD from Quinnipiac. 17G, 39P In 36GP. Good size and from the same hometown in Florida as Ghost. He did not want to sign with the Caps and is a Hobie Baker finalist. Would the Flyers have any interest in sending an ELC his way?

Yeah, well I’m pretty sure Werenski will be signed so my guess is Provy will follow so he wouldn’t miss time. Boston waiting is baffling to me because they have a tighter cap situation. Do they really want Werenski to set the market? (I am sure Provy does.)

I dont think Boston is waiting, the player is.

Yes, but if I were Boston I’d be either making more effort or clearing cap space. McAvoy signing for 1 or 2 years seems out of the question from the player perspective. How much can Boston afford for McAvoy? 5.5? Carlo’s bridge deal will be over 3 mil.

There's interest but there are quite a few teams interested. With 7D under contract at the NHL level and Provorov unsigned right now, the Flyers can't really focus on competing to offer him an immediate shot at an NHL job in camp. Since ELC terms will be the same anywhere, the sell is immediate opportunity (and immediate opportunity on a cinch playoff team is even better).

I'm not saying he wouldn't be a nice add, but Mike Vecchione was a Hobey Baker finalist a few years ago as well. So while it's a nice pedigree, it's not something where you want to automatically hand them a roster spot. But if they could convince him to sign, would be nice.

kinda figured Boston would actually be the first to sign their RFA out of them, Philly, and Columbus. Ive always felt they do things their own way and although all teams use other signings as baseline's, still feel McAvoy would've gotten done by now and still will be the first one done. Unless McAvoy's camp is making it real difficult.

Are we getting new third jerseys this year? They need to do the black jersey correctly, late 90s / early 2000s

As long as they don't go with that god awful holographic-esque logo orange jersey from the early 2000s.

Why in the heck would NHL channel be showing Game 2 from the Flyers/Buffalo series in 2006?

An 8-2 Buffalo win.

Why not show a good game like game 1 which went 2ot? Or game 4 which was 5-4.

I'd rather watch that than the 7-1 Game 6 loss.
