Dubas signs Jason Spezza at 700K for the 4th line, Benning gives Jay Beagle 4 years at 3 million per.

Hard to say but probably correct. AV was outcoached by Julien in the final to some extent. Relying on the PP too much and telling Torres, Lapierre and Bieksa to stand down vs Thornton and Lucic' antics...so many things. Plus Lou choked hard in BOS and AV refused to start Schneider in GM 6. Shoulda woulda coulda...but those Gillis acquisitions were key...whether we liked him or not.

I didn’t dislike MG. I questioned his vision on contracts but getting fired idk what his plans were if he needed to move out players. His drafting was easily his biggest fault & appeared like he had no clue.

50% of the cap spent on 4 F’s & only one can play all situations. Leaves at least 10 players on league min contracts to do the dirty work. The PK sucks & no shutdown line in the bottom 6. As the league gets better the Leafs just watch. Freddie is in for another over worked season. That’s awesome cap management never seen before. Next year UFA’s walk again.

Leafs had the best depth of any team last season. Your point is terrible. Check out what team had the most 20 goal scorers, 40 point guys.

Leafs had very good players on their 3rd line that would have been high, even on contenders.
