2018. Lost to the Bruins in 7. The Bruins had probably 500 games of playoff experience vs the young up and coming Leafs with like 10 games of playoff experience.

2019. Lost to the Bruins in a 7 game series that they (on paper) should have won. The Bruins team that beat them goes on to the Cup finals.

What are you smoking that would prevent you from seeing the reality here? The team is getting better every year. The Caps kept losing to the Pens in the first round for like 7 or 8 years before just busting through the wall to win the cup. What makes you think the Leafs can't also do the same thing? 4 line depth up front, probably a better goalie, and now a good amount of playoff experience within their core.
