2017. Lost to the Caps. 5 of the 6 games went to OT. The Caps won the cup the next year.

2018. Lost to the Bruins in 7. The Bruins had probably 500 games of playoff experience vs the young up and coming Leafs with like 10 games of playoff experience.

2019. Lost to the Bruins in a 7 game series that they (on paper) should have won. The Bruins team that beat them goes on to the Cup finals.

What are you smoking that would prevent you from seeing the reality here? The team is getting better every year. The Caps kept losing to the Pens in the first round for like 7 or 8 years before just busting through the wall to win the cup. What makes you think the Leafs can't also do the same thing? 4 line depth up front, probably a better goalie, and now a good amount of playoff experience within their core.

I'd probably be pretty upset and bitter if i lived in buffalo. Forget the hockey team. Just living in Buffalo alone.. Sorry for what you need to go through every day, just know there are many people living in bigger dumps around the world and that you are not alone.
