..... Why are so many GM's not even negotiating? Why is it okay for these RFA's to drag on and on? There should just be a point, and not in December, but earlier, like September 30th, that if the player isn't signed they are done for the year. That would get everyone moving.

And if Fletcher is looking outside the organization while NOT negotiating with TK and Provorov, he should be the one going bye bye.

With the Leafs defense, I don't think they'll be looking to add Laine to their forward group.

Just think how awesome the Sabres would be if they still had Snipeshow, Freakarenko and the Latvian Locomotive. Those 3 players would take up too much Murrency on the Sabres salary cap though. The Sabres have a treasure trove of defensive depth. Question is, do they have 5 premium pieces to make the playoffs this year?

I believe all the big named RFA's will be signed by their teams before the Dec 1st deadline. There might be some sign and trade scenarios by the time of the draft as some of these signings will hamstring some teams into moving these players i order to better build their teams.

Hey Ek, if the Leafs and Marner can’t come to terms on a new deal and they do decide to trade him, what teams do you think would be interested? What type of deal do you think could be worked out?

My first choice would be a deal with Ana: Marner+ for Manson and Rackell.

In defense of Ek, he mentioned 3 RFA's in Connor, Laine and Konecny.

Gardiner was just mixed in for good luck. Giving Ek the benefit of the doubt here. Lord knows why?
