I've always said if you can get a first rounder for him or a prospect who projects as a good top six forward, I do that. Anyone trading for Risto probably wants some offense, and I can't see giving up a top six in that situation.

But a high pick or good prospect and 5.5 mil in cap space would be a really nice get Imo. Botts could go out and then flip the asset for a middle six forward maybe.

It's a lot easier to trade a good player for picks and then use those picks to get another good player than it is to make a straight swap. That's all I'm saying. We have a log jam on defense, so convert Risto into an asset and then use that asset at some point to buy a forward.

Those lines are so weak ..... it’s hard to look at
