Don't waste your time, bud...

Nylander could finish the year with 75 points and Max will still say that he's not good enough to get 76 points.

- PatC80

Yeah I know.

He seems to just pick players out of a hate that he loves or hates.

He has some obsession with Hintz.

And that random D he was mentioning a while back...looks like that obsession is over now.

It is August 20th....

Gardiner is definitively wanting to come back to the Leafs.

Dubas is holding Jake hostage for Marner.

lol
I was just saying that Hintz is quite a bit better than Johnsson.
and the 'random D'.... Provorov? Seth Jones? McAvoy? not sure who you're talking about.

So they both get 1-year, $5 million deals?

Interesting.

Some D on Dallas.

He was a depth guy. If you already forgotten him than that is proof you just pick names out of a hat.

I just think its strange a player of his caliber is waiting this long to sign a deal.

And he is also staying very quiet....

Ceci is not untouchable.

I once - maybe twice! - mentioned Fedun as a potential depth signing for the Leafs.
and that was based on Leafs' needs and Dubas' preferences.

Tampa gets their stars to take discounts. But their middle guys make more than they should see Yanni Gourde contract.

Leafs pay stars big dollars and middle guys what they should see Kappy contract.

Glassthews can barely play 18min and stay healthy, adding more ice time will only increase his chance of more shoulder injuries.
- Symba007

Anyone would have been hurt on the Trouba hit. The other injury was a puck to the head. Not glass at all

He got him on a 6.9 mil deal when everybody said he was asking for Draisaitl's deal.
- AdamFrench

Exactly. His contract was perfect. Pasta makes less but signed 2 years earlier. COLA makes sense.
Contract is fine.

Not the Hawks, we got our Nylander at less than a million.

Me either.

But some other GM might.

There is also an option of taking another LTIR player.

Just the fact that JG hasn't signed and isn't saying a word. I think its obvious he is holding out in hopes of going to the Leafs.

I am sure Dubas knows what he can do with Ceci...he has the advantage of talking to GM's unlike us fans.

How many teams would take Nylander at 6.9M?

I'd say most of them.

- Scabeh

Nylander will have a great season and then all these douche bags will say Dubas bagged out getting him at 6.9

If the Leafs weren't up to the cap...I would love for Marner to hold out until December, sign a 7 year deal that paid his 18mil on the cap for one season and 8mil for the other 6.

keep telling yourself he'll have a great season.
if not 2019-2020, maybe the 2020-2021 will be great for him?

GOOD EATS?

Edit: or was it GOOD FOOD?

Anyone here know what I'm talking about? There used to be a restaurant in Tobermory, and they had GOOD FOOD or GOOD EATS written in huge letters on their roof.

Or am I smoking crack?
