Reports are accurate the Marner camp has had discussions with Zurich. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him go there to train in early Sept. Dubas and Ferris met last week. Positive talks, but no progress.

Marner could pay the insurance premium and go to Leafs camp without a contract. What a circus that would be. Trade interest will grow as well as the days go by.

I really hope Dubas starts some trade rumours...even if he has no intention to trade him it’s time to put a scare in his camp.

The Leafs' roster was soft with Kadri. Now it's the softest in the League. No chance of getting through 4 rounds of Playoff hockey with it as currently constructed. Dubas failed to maximize the assets he had available when he took over for Lou. Built a band with two lead singers but no bass or drums. They'll be fun to watch though, lots of regular season success ahead.
