I'm luke warm on the fire Babcock train. I think he needs to get us out of the 1st round this year or he's on the block, but who knows. Keefe's done well with the Marlies; I'd be ok with him stepping into the head coach role at some point.

I only said that dubas will fire him if they aren’t winning. And he’s for sure gone if they don’t make the 2nd round, and he may even need to get to the 3rd round to keep his job.

When quotes don't work, all I do is go back to the main section of HB, click back into the blog comment section and than it'll work. Has never failed me.

I'd really like to propose a split into 2 leafs forums on here - in order for HOHO, Aardvark, Bixll, Santo, Roger and a few others can go on continue with the insults and ignorant remarks, but just between themselves; and the other forum just a normal interaction forum where people can share their opinions and views on hockey, leafs and other stuff without the constant bickering and insults.

As much as I liked Brown, seemed like a decent guy who wouldn't sulk and bring negativity to the dressing room, and a local boy. But I'd rather see him get a fresh start with a new team, he's deserving of that. He will get a much bigger role with the Sens.

I propose you move to a clone of the Hockeybuzz site where every Lead article is about trading Nylander or how Marner would have signed before last season, and the forums are filled with bots that are designed to agree with all of your outrageous hottakes and dubas hate so you don't get lonely.

Not an attempt to troll. Just stating a fact.

Why was Ceci payed 4.5M? He's terrible. Look at his season in OTT. Pay him 3M, and all of a sudden you have enough to pay Marner. Lock Marner up to max contract and be in solid position.

Instead, the Leafs are playing hard ball with their best player. Creating bad blood on both sides.
