I'd tell you to contact TPC's lawyer, but he probably doesn't practice in Canada.

Howdy all. Just got back from taking daughter up to college. See nothing much has changed. Working on figuring the next blog. Not much ongoing.

I know there’s still time prior to traning camp opening, but one has to wonder what players like Lemieux and ADA are thinking. They have no leverage in contract talks, they are entering into very pivotal years for both of them, would it not be prudent to sign and avoid the ugliness of holding out? There is no offer sheet coming, it makes little sense to me.

ultimately if either one of them holds out, they are out their minds

there is too much competition here for spots

especially Tony D

young guys get like Fox, Rykov, Reunanen, Lindgren get into camp and start turning heads, he could find himself on the outside looking in real quick.

This is still the same coaching staff that healthy scratched him a lot last year

I think chances are pretty good the Rangers will bring one or two guys in on PTO too

Was wondering the same thing yesterday. Nothing to gain by holding out, and more likely to lose a roster spot. Maybe ADA hasn't grown up as much as it seemed since he's coming across as entitled to more by sitting out. Not the sort of behavior Quinn likes.

Those guys have agents and Lemieux's agent is his father Claude. The agents know how the game is played and next season I believe both players will be arbitration eligible. Bite the bullet, play your ass off and get exposure on a young, exciting upcoming team. Reap the rewards of it next season. I don't want to lose either one of them.

If Lemieux’s father is as big a pain in the butt to negotiate with, as he was to play against his son could be in for trouble with the organization. Hope not, I like what he brings.
