Yeah I see these short term numbers as well it seems to be the common RFA theme this summer wanting long term AAV for short term contracts. Explains the non movement by most RFA's who have some star leverage. - NuckUp
I'm not sure if Boeser deserves 7mil at this stage of his career, but if that's his agents request, then make it for 6 years and hopefully he will be worth that dollar amount in years 4-6.
Bo is the best and only option to be Captain of the Canooks, Pettersson is a bit to arrogant to be the talking head to the nauseating media questions and pressure.

We need a capt. who will ask the media "do they pay you to ask stupid questions?"
basically paying him a premium for his RFA years when he has little leverage and then he can bend the team over when the contract is up and he's about to be a UFA. - Nucker101
Yep, only thing worse would be if it was a Meier style 10M in the final year. Although Benning acknowledged that in the article I read.
I prefer the 2 year bridge or 7 year cash cow over 4 years.

Funny you mention it I am on a war documentary kick again and am watching the Ken Burns Vietnam War 10 episode series on Netflix. I personally think it's the best one ever done. My GF is like haven't you watched that 3 times now?? lol
Vietnam in HD on blu ray also very good 6 episodes I think. - LordHumungous
