I have a feeling Kessel’s word is as strong as his one timer on the power play. Once again not hating on Kessel, he was a great penguin. I just think the trade had more to do with Kessel feeling like, meh time for something new than the cooked up narrative that the GM ran him out of town. If Rutherford felt that way about him he would just say it with a straight face to the media.
