Not a fan of what they have done at all. I just think the city is a big selling attraction. - VANTEL
I'm not the same as some people that are hell bent on creating a team on a single way and a single step at a time. If opportunities present themselves, they should be taken advantage off. Who wouldn't want Panarin on their team. Yes they have to do some juggling now and buyouts and such but that can all be fixed in the future. AP is there for 7 years. Just don't (frank) up the coming years and hope that you have the right mix.
What I dislike about the Rangers is everyone thinking the team is somehow going to be leading the division and now a cup contender. Low ways off from that. Maybe a in a year or two IF the rookies develop.

They have a few good players but they are years away. Look at the teams in their division it is pretty strong.
Jesse Puljujarvi will at least have somewhere to play in 2019-20, even if things don’t get worked out with the Edmonton Oilers. The disgruntled young forward has signed a one-year deal with Karpat in Finland, though the contract includes an option to leave for the NHL before December 1st. In the NHL, if a restricted free agent is not signed before that date they are not eligible to play for the rest of the season.
Puljujarvi’s free agent status will not be changed by this contract. Even if he decides to play the entire year in Finland, the Oilers will still own his exclusive negotiating rights.

Going with Benning's off season trends when at least half of the new signs are a flop, which 2 of the 4 new signings/trade do you think will be a total bust?

I guess Myers has the most opportunity to disappoint. I don't think any of them will flop, but it's conceivable that a guy like Ferland has injury trouble here (like Sutter has), or Benn is more like Biega than Schenn...
Still, I'm optimistic that for the next couple years at least that the new guys will be pretty good.

#Canucks For the second straight game and his Avtomobilist club's final pre-season game Nikita Tryamkin has no C or A on his chest. Last game he was 4th pairing right D and in this game he is the 3rd pairing left D. He is usually his team's 1st pairing right D.
