Puljujärvi never really had what it takes to make it in #Oilers. He is a very skilled player but in Edmonton you just need to have something more. Believe me, I know!!
However all the best to Jesse. He makes upcoming #Liiga season very interesting 👍👍👍 |

saw the rumor of kreids to Edm. ?
what kind of low value do they have for krieds ?
hes a top 6 fwd. probably with his best 3 to 5 yrs ahead of him
what he wil ldo with a top center is scary .....
no way the way deal outlined would i make it
Now i dont want to trade him , want him on top line Mika Kreids Artemi
i have yet to see a decent deal for him
the one around deadline for a #1 pick ? unless in top 10 no way
lots of time to waste till things get tight & serious ,Post Labor day is when the
ticking gets in everyones ear for camp to open ...
we will see ... |

he had hip surgery and there's no one willing to trade anything of value for him until they see him play again
I am willing for the Rangers to eventually try to acquire him, I just want to steal him for peanuts - jimbo83
He feels like a pouliot low cost signing special.
It's pretty funny that he'd actually have less pressure in new york than Edmonton (as long as the cost of acquisition was low). |

Kreids isn't worth as much as we think. He will be a UFA after this year looking for his big pay day. I don't think other teams would be willing to give away the farm for him.imo |

yeah, unless the acquiring team is given permission to talk extension, I don't think he has much trade value at all.
not a lot of teams right now have 4.6 mil in cap space to throw around either, most teams that do still have a big ticket RFA they themselves have to sign |

Yup.
He will probably be worth the most at the TDL if he is having a good year. |

Gotta say it’s pretty wild to think that the Rangers signed a player who, in my opinion, is a top 10 player in the league and he’s probably the 4th or 5th player on my list of new Rangers that I’m excited to see. There’s no doubt I’m excited for Panarin but I am probably more excited for Kakko, Kravtsov, Fox, and Shesterkin. That says a lot about these kids.
Can’t remember a time where we had this many high end prospects coming in at the same time.
Leetch and Granato maybe come the closest. |

Brendl and Lundmark
- mdw7413
Not even close. They were high draft picks, yes, but at no time were their expectations as NHLers high. Initially after their draft, expectations were high but that soon faded. |

Huh? They are all in the same boat. All high draft picks have high expectations. |

when Brendl arrived for training camp, day 1, out of shape, they knew they were doomed
https://www.nytimes.com/1...k-is-a-bust-on-day-1.html - jimbro83
Thank you
That’s my point.
The expectations of Brendl and Lundmark faded very quickly. Not even close to what we have coming in this year. Kakko and Kravtsov will be NHL players, whether they are stars, remains to be seen. That was unknown with Brendl and Lundmark |

I tell you right now, I thought Brendl was going to be a superstar, I followed him his whole draft year in Calgary and flipped out that we traded for him.
The reality is, the Rangers should have known Brendl had red flags and didn't do their due diligence |

Pretty sure he was joking...
Brendl and Lundmark's parents are more excited this season than they were back then!!! |
