I didn't watch him much but it's not the first time the Oil have busted on a high draft pick.

Before Laine and Aho shot on to the scene, everbody was over the moon about his game. I find it hard to believe that he doesn't have what it takes to be a decent player in the NHL.

People don't want to hear it, but it's happening. All those people laughing when the Leafs signed Tavares are going to have a different perspective all of a sudden. I suspect people will be more p*ssed at Matthews than the team that signs him.

So you are assuming the Coyotees stay in Arizona nd start winning? Because we both know Leafs being JT's home town team was only a part of it. It gave him a chance to win, they had an amazing young core. If Leafs sucked, he never ever signs with the Leafs.

And BTW, if the Leafs offer Matthews the biggest contract in history the year prior he turns it down? Doubt it
