Most important positions are Center & defense, right?
Pretty sure I’ve seen u say that
How can u be upset about him CLEARLY doing his best to build depth in those most important spots?
Crystal clear...behind closed doors
No, he hasn’t built a complete team YET
But he took over a mess
And if u want it done right,
it takes time
Is he arguing with Crumble or himself?
You can either applaud what he’s done so far
(in the most important positions)
and have faith that he’ll build up the wings & goaltending
Or you can just complain,
over & over & over & over & over & over & over
and just be unhappy with the current state of affairs
Your choice - jdfitz77
There are honestly no other options in life for you Crumble...
Huge fan Fitz, keep these gems coming |

GREAT burgers, Louis is about 10 mins from me. I was going to mention it but figured no one would know what the hell I was talking about. You get yelled at if you order ketchup.

Russ Cohen at the Prospect's camp, via Sirius NHL Network Radio (yesterday but I heard it again this morning on Boomer Gordon's show):
Cozens is a beast and has the hardest shot at the camp; Sees why the Sabres picked him;
Ukka Pekka Lukkanen - looked good after hip surgery.
To me this is good pre-camp news. Let's see how it translates going forward.
Over/Under 90 points. |

Wat?
I've heard others make this quasi-facist argument of "Botts: love him or leave the sabres."
When he puts a good product on the ice and proves he's a good GM, I'll give him credit, but he hasn't proven anything yet. His roster building strategy is unique. We'll see if it works.
By all means, post whatever you like about Botterill to balance out what I'm saying if you think I'm being too negative about him
I agree things take time. That's why going into his 3rd season after his 3rd draft and 3rd summer is a perfect time to prove he's a good GM, because it's been some time.
I'm sorry I'm too hard on JB for your tastes, but goddamn, your post reads like "Leave Brittany Alone!" |

Check out 716 and the draft room. It’s rhe labatt blue brewery. Both are next to the arena. Liberty hound if it’s still open in October. |

Cozens will be Eichel lite .... I still think he has a shot at playing his 9 games.
3rd line right wing or maybe 3C.
Put Erod on the right wing.
This is if he looks decent in preseason. |

I love 716. Tried to go to the draft room on our trip this past winter, but it was packed. Good spot? |

I get the sense that Cozens ultimately settles in as RW, either with Skinner and Jack on the st or Rhino moves there and Cozens fils the need as 2RW.
It will be fun to see it play out. |

if he can jump in and play on the top line i kind of would be surprised.. i think they need someone with more experience there |

That actually is a good idea ...... see how the works during preseason.
In my mind..... his skating and speed were considered elite going into the draft. If he can skate and keep up with the speed. He should be fine. |

I think an accurate position to take would be a mixture of both.
Recognize that he has done quite a bit, especially this offseason, but also consider that this roster isn't good enough yet.
Yes, he inherited a complete mess, and it does take time to fix.
Yet, he also complicated matters by adding some deadwood to the roster himself and that needs to be cleaned out along with the hand me downs.
Like most things in life, it isn't cut and dry one way. |

Both are good for beer / drinking / watching games. I don’t like either place if you want to grab food. The food is average at best. |

I agree on the food, along with Pearl Street. I am not sure either is above a TGI Friday's. Again, only my opinion.
Wings at Gene McCarthy's are great!
Ballyhoo sausage and mac-n-cheese, awesome. |

Agreed. That being said, I never found TGI Friday's to be too offensive, especially for a chain restaurant. |

Ya, I'd be surprised if he made the team this season.
Eventually, I could see a top 6 of:
Skins - Eichel - Rhino
Olofsson - Mitts - Cozens
And follow that up on the 3rd line with
Johansson - Asplund - ERod
That "eventually" I would think is the 20-21 season. |

Yeah buffalo has some great options if the person is willing to get out of the arena.
Allentown burger venture
Cantina loco
Colter bay
Mothers
Fat bobs
Big ditch
Deep South tacos
(Not counting really nice / expensive restaurants) |
